Are there membership fees?
To help us provide special events (involving food and eating) and support our outreach to underserved neighborhoods, we ask that you pay an annual fee of $25 per household for one calendar year which is included with your first payment. Please see the question “When do I pay” for more information.
Will I have to buy vegetables I don't want?
We are very different from buying clubs or CSAs where you never know what produce you’ll receive until it arrives. At the Clean Food Network, you customize your own order each week. You order what you want – in the quantities you want – from the farms you want. We post the produce, meats, coffee, milled products, fresh flowers, and artisan goods available that week on The Market page. You can browse all our items before placing your order. Of course, if you like a surprise, you can still order a small or large CSA box of in-season veggies. The choice is yours!
We also offer an elder box that provides fresh produce to our elderly thru CASA.
How do I order?
Ordering is quick, easy & convenient. You can place your custom orders on-line by:
1. Creating or logging onto your account and then visit
2. Market Page to choose from the locally products you will need for the week. Once your order is complete.
3. You can pay by paypal or send in a check to refill your account.
4.There are several pick up locations in Madison and Huntsville. You can select which pick up point would suite you best.
5.You can also choose home delivery on orders over $25 for a $5 fee. Leave directions and a day time phone where you can be reached in the comments section of your order form. Or contact Dove Stackhouse at 256-572-7218.
Deliveries are made every Wedesday afternoon. Times vary with pick up location.
*All Baked Goods and Coffee orders need to be made by 4:00 Sunday afternoon. So our farmers can bake your goodies and roast your coffee for you fresh.
When do I pay?
We will not be at the pickup points to take your payments for your orders unless you just happen to be there when we are.
For first time customers, please create your account and pay the annual $25 membership fee with paypal, debit or credit card. You may pay for today’s order only, or you can fill your account in advance. There is no minimum order.
If you are paying by check, please send your payment to the Clean Food Network (at the address given below). We will post your payment on this web site in your account and you can pay down your balance.
You can mail your payment to the Clean Food Network at 189 Co. Rd. 9060, Geraldine, AL 35974. If you have any questions call Dove Stackhouse at 256-572-7218 or “e-mail: cleanfoodnetwork@gmail.com”:
We have added a paypal “Buy Now” button to the “Your Account” page so you can use your paypal account, debit, or credit card to refill your account or pay for an individual order. Click the “Buy Now” button and enter the amount you wish to refill your account or the amount of the order you have just placed. When we are notified of your payment, we will post it into your account as we do now. Thanks!

Why Support Locally Grown?
Enhance your local economy: By purchasing produce and other items from local growers you are providing stability to your local economy through the support of local businesses.
Save natural resources: Buying locally makes you an invaluable link in the process of saving resources such as fossil fuels and packaging materials. Also, we are right here in your community so the expense of transportation and delivery is kept to a minimum.
Provide learning opportunities: Locally Grown supporters provide member growers the means to help educate our community about the importance of sustainable agriculture.
Supporting a way of life: The number of small farms in the United States has decreased dramatically in the last decade. Please help us preserve an honest and worthy means of making a living.
We believe that small, diverse, family-owned farms contribute to society’s overall health.
